Rey - The Force Awakens

This Rey costume was my first project of 2016, completely handmade as a part of my very first YouTube tutorial series.

That summer, some friends and I drove 8 hours into the Texas wilderness to capture some truly memorable photos. We rose before dawn to catch the daybreak over Monahans Sandhills State Park, a gorgeous location filled with natural sand dunes. Check out the photoshoot below as well as our behind-the-scenes videos.

Footage from the trip was later featured in Target’s “Bring Your Rey Game” ad campaign.

I visited Monahan's Sandhills State Park for a Jakku themed photo shoot with Atelier Heidi! We had two photographers and two videographers on set to bring you a variety of looks for this fun day. It was INCREDIBLY WINDY, but the photos and video made it all worth it.
